When a Texas Ranger sergeant unwittingly allows a bandit gang to spend a night on his land, the polecats set his ranch house ablaze, killing the Ranger and his family. His Ranger brother (Donald "Red" Barry) is assigned to the case, even crossing into Mexican territory (where his jurisdiction ends) in the quest for justice.
